Are Panorama's SEL Surveys aligned with CASEL or Second Step?

Panorama’s Social-Emotional Learning measures are well-aligned with the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) framework. The CASEL framework identifies five core competencies: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. Panorama's SEL surveys give you the option of measuring all of these competencies and more.

To learn more about how Panorama's surveys align with CASEL's framework, you can review this report, or explore the deck linked here to see specific questions on each of the topics.

Second Step

Researchers at Committee for Children (CfC) recommend Panorama as an assessment tool aligned with the Second Step program for pre-kindergarten through middle school. You can use Panorama's recommended SEL topics to align with your Second Step curriculum and begin to understand evaluate the implementation in order to support students. To learn more about choosing these topics, you can review this report.
