Reviewing Your Check-In Responses
Check-ins can be used across a school or a district to quickly and easily learn how students are doing right now—focusing on students’ well-being, learning, and social-emotional growth. You can review students' responses to questions and use the information to plan school-wide or targeted supports in response, building stronger relationships with students in the process.
How to View Results from a Check-in
Below we will walk through how you can review student responses for check-ins.
1. Once students have responded to a check-in, you and other educators who support the same students can view their check-in results. You can access check-in responses in two ways.
a. You can navigate to the Check-ins Overview page using the top navigation bar. Next, click on the See results button next to the specific check-in you wish to explore further.
b. You can also access check-in responses through the district dashboard, school dashboard, or students page by clicking on the Check-in Responses button on the navigation bar to the left.
Note that the Check-in Responses button will only be available once student responses have been submitted.
2. Once you land on the Check-in responses page, you will see a list of questions that students reflected on during this specific check-in. If you clicked on the Check-in Responses button from the district, school or student dashboards, you will need to select the specific check-in you would like to explore more from the dropdown menu.
You can click into a specific question to view how students responded.
3. Once you click into a specific question, you can see how each individual student responded to this question. You can also use the Filter answer choice dropdown menu. This helps you to better narrow down which groups of students responded to a specific answer choice.
By default, you will see the full list of students.
Once you filter by answer choice, you will see only the students who responded with that specific answer choice.
