Behavior Boost Reminder Notifications

Behavior Boost users can set up and receive SMS notifications (text messages) for reminders about meeting their current Praise Goal through the Boost app and submitting Major Incident drafts through desktop. These reminders help teachers deliver behavior-specific praise to meet their goals that support students, as well as to submit incidents in a timely manner.

Setting up Contact Information

When logging into the Boost Mobile app for the first time, a pop-up will ask you to add a phone number. After adding a phone number, you will be asked to configure settings for notifications (Figure 1.).

(Figure 1.)

If you add a phone number, but choose “Remind Later” to configure settings, an icon will be visible on your Profile tab to remind you to configure your notification settings (Figure 2.).

(Figure 2.)

If you do not add a phone number, there will not be any notifications.

If you decide you want to add your phone number for notifications later, visit the Profile tab. Select “Contact Information,” then select “Add Number” to enter your phone number. Save when finished.

There are two different types of notifications you can choose to set up: Goals and Incidents (Figure 3.).
