Your Panorama License and Content:
If this is your first year implementing Panorama surveys, it is important to have a sense of the steps you'll need to take to successfully prepare and administer your surveys. The timeline below will provide details into each phase of work to ensure you have a smooth survey administration process and capture important feedback from your stakeholders!
As a best practice, please complete the survey set-up process 2 to 3 weeks prior to your intended launch date! This will give our technical teams time to troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Here's what you can expect each time you administer Panorama surveys:
Plan Project | You'll be introduced to your Panorama project team and have some time to discuss your goals, as well as learn more about the platform and determine your survey project's timeline. Your district or school team will begin to communicate broadly about the "why" and "how" of the process for collecting stakeholder's voice. |
Prepare for Survey | During this phase of the work, you will select from Panorama’s research-backed survey content and then upload a roster file for everyone who will take the survey. Continue to communicate with key champions who will support the survey-taking process. Customize and share Panorama proctor resources to ensure your champions feel prepared and supported. |
Launch Survey | Once your surveys are live, you can distribute the survey and related support materials. Throughout the survey-taking process, you will be able to monitor response rates and encourage high engagement using these strategies. |
Understand Results | Shortly after your survey window closes, review your survey results. You can share the results more broadly with your team with a few quick clicks. Then your team has the option to join a Panorama community workshop to understand your reports. |
Take Action | If you plan to share the survey results with a larger group, review options for professional development with the Panorama team or resources to facilitate your own in-house data inquiry session. Trainings are a great way to introduce your community to Panorama survey results and equip them with the tools to take action on this important data. |
